Weekly Reflection

Ok so this week we had a long holiday and only 3 days of class so we were doing our Fahrenheit 451 projects and reading the final parts of the Shakespeare plays. I finished all 3 plays now and this reflection will be on Macbeth.

Macbeth is a very interesting story and it shows a lord killing the king to gain the king's lands but ends up in psychopath because Lord Macbeth listened to the word of 3 witches. I think his hallucinations and psychopathic activity is because of his guilt and all the evil stuff that he has done. Killing the king, killing his friends, framing other people for it, and other stuff that he has done. So after reading a small part of the play, I think that people shouldn't do evil stuff because one day, the guilt and karma will get to you. In the end Macbeth dies and all I can say about his death is that he was asking for it.

On another note, this week is quite an important week for me in KoL. This week my clan in the game is starting a Coat run loop. In KoL, in a clan, there is a clan basement that is opened with 10 million meat ( KoL currency). Once you open the basement, you can pay a further 1 million meat to open a new zone called Hobopolis. Before you enter Hobopolis, you have to go through the Old Sewer Tunnels to enter Hobopolis. Hobopolis is split into 6 zones, 1 main zone and 5 sub zones, Each zone having it's own boss. The zones include 1 for each element and are Town Square, Burnbarrel Blvd, Explosure Explande, The Heap, Ancient Zombie Hobo Burial Ground, and The Purple Light District. Town Square has 3000 hobos to kill while the other zones have 500 each.
Hobopolis is a group effort and is completed by anyone with access to the clan basement. After all the bosses are defeated, there is an option to reflood the sewers and what that does is restart Hobopolis for the clan.
Now to Coat Runs. If a clan completes Hobopolis in a limited amount of time, there are special equipment that drops with the final boss, Hodgman, the hobo-loving hoboverlord. If Hobopolis is finished within 3400 adventures, Hodgman will drop a Wackin' Stick and that is a good weapon to use. If Hobopolis is finished within 2300 adventures, Hodgman will drop his disgusting technical overcoat. If Hobopolis is finished within 1100 adventures, Hodgman will drop his imaginary hamster. These equipment that Hodgman drops are all very good equipment and very beneficial to in-game play.
So our clan has just started a Coat Run Loop which means that we will be doing coat runs until everyone that applied for 1 has 1. I have just received my coat yesterday and I love it :D.

The Kingdom of Loathing Introduction

There is a game called Kingdom of Loathing, it is a very fun and underrated game. People tend to think it is a very boring game because it is unlike other online games in that KoL is not a graphical RPG but a descriptive RPG. While fighting, you will see a drawn black and white (sometimes colored) picture of the monster and what goes on in the fight is all in words and description. The descriptions are hilarious and it has references from many many places. Everything in KoL is hand drawn and it is amazingly funny. I have been playing the game for 4 years already, it is free and no downloading is required. Reflection

After finish reading the part on Romeo and Juliet, I think that Romeo is quite confused about what love really is. I think that true love is that you would do anything for the other person and not forget about him/her so quick. Romeo does exactly that in the beginning where he says that he cannot live without Rosaline and will go to the feast only to see Rosaline but when he gets to the feast he sees Juliet and loves her immediately. If I truly loved someone, I wouldn't suddenly forget about them once I see another person that I "love." So I think Romeo doesn't truly understand love and just puts it on his mouth saying that he loves someone
